Tree Rings Poster

Colourful picture of a stack of tree trunks with beautiful autum colours. The rings in a tree's trunk tell a story about a tree's age. The first ring represents the tree's first year, and the outside ring its last year. Under optimal circumstances the cells grow large and wide, but when a tree grows in a less optimal environment the cells are smaller and closer to each other. The lighter colours represent the summer and the darker ones winter.
